Everything works excellently as described. Although there's no much in the way of instructions if you get on Fancier's website there is a video that explains how to put the softboxes together and it's really easy. They throw excellent light and the 4 bulb light heads can also be used with umbrellas. The stands are decent but not exceptional, but an excellent value for the price. I put pennies in my counterweight bag for the boom stand and it works. This equipment is untouchable for the price... I was hoping to have something I assemble ONCE and can break down and move. Not the case with this light kit. I typically move from place to place and have to travel for different projects. For this in particular item, you have to completely disassemble the entire kit to be able to pack it up. That means remove ever light bulb, remove the softbox pins holding it open etc. it comes with a travel bag, but its kinda useless as this is really meant to set up once and not move it easily. The material feels very flimsy, and the support rods feel TOO light. And not in that, "Hey cool, it must be an awesome material" light.
