The grinder I received looks nothing like the Amazon photo. I was dismayed to see the cheap and poorly designed grinding cup. It's a soft, thin (and possibly toxic?) plastic with ridges (!) that seem to serve no purpose other than to catch ground food and make cleaning difficult. I'm worried what will happen when the cup cracks. Will the company replace it? This is an item made in China and I can find no info about the company anywhere. Just who is Chef Pro?That said, it is an extremely powerful motor. I wanted something that would grind Thai spice pastes and Indonesian sambals without the addition of water and mess of a blender and this does the trick. I had a Sumeet, which I loved, but it was stolen. If anyone from the company is out there I'd sure appreciate an email and a new cup design, plus I'd like to purchase another blade.
