The seat springs don't offer little cushion. Also, you can't lean your back much. It looks like a pretentious, cheap imitation of a classy chair. For the price (including shipping) I'd be content if it were comfortable to sit in or looked a bit better. Unfortunately, its neither comfortable nor that great to look at. By the way- It arrives in a massive box. I couldn't fit it through my door. I had to open the box outside and bring the chair in piece meal (it was raining so this was urgent). I admit they post its dimensions, but I didn't take out my tape-measure to determine how big this thing is, and it dominates my small den. It looks like a throne, and pretty silly for it. It does appear to be fairly well made, but it's not very comfortable. It's upholstered in vinyl, not leather, so at least it's easy to clean. The material looks shinier and cheaper, less like leather, than it does in the photo.The upper part of the back of the chair curves back and looks in the picture to be a handy head-rest, but your head can't reach back there; your lower torso is being pushed too far forward. I'm going to experiment with different pillows to see if I can create a headrest. But despite all the above shortcomings, I'm not going to return it.
